flunking english

Well, this post is dedicated to TBI and the Davenports
(also for Christine and Tati), love you all!

I’m using English this time (which’s a bad idea since I am flunking English,
and everything I say/write in English always (well, not always actually) wrong,
and it has to be corrected by my friends…
So, I’m sorry if there’re some mistakes in this post.

Last Wednesday afternoon, I got the result from the tests which have done by me last week (reading, writing, speaking and listening), and its overall score only reached 78! What the… I surprised.
(And a little bit disappointed of course)

My score got worse. (ooooohhh. *backing vocal in action)

My score before this was 82! I’m starting to ask myself. “Am I an idiot?” hiks.hiks.
The best student in my class is Erina Syahrani, with 82 at overall. And the second’s Tasyah with 80, then the third are me with Paulus. Both of us got 78. (It’s weird. We didn’t cheat each other!)

Ok. This’s the details :
Reading : the most difficult part. It’s tricky!
The test was… match the persons with the most suitable college for them… (and I didn’t understand the vocabulary about college), some questions with implicite information and so on. It made me frustrated a lot.

And I got 71. (same with Paulus again, hey, don’t shout at me! I DIDN’T CHEAT. We didn’t even talking each other! It’s weird, I know.)

Just for your information, the reading test is really difficult, I swear. 71 (my score), is the best reading score! (heheee. I don’t want to be arrogant, it’s the truth, babe.)

Writing : my score? 96 ! Yippee. Hehe. Best score too. I love this part, I can thought the sentences in my mind before wrote it. And I like writing letters and story although the teachers would cry because of my poor grammar.

Listening : caution : you have to cleaned your ears first then stick them on the speakers (if you wanna get the maximum score). Or in my case, I have to make a ventilation on my veil.

The instruction said the cassette will play a dialogue between 2 persons about work experiences. But all I can heard just :

“Yeah, I worked there only for… ZzZ…krSkkrsK…BsssZzssSt…” I really want to throw my heavy bag to the cassette player.

Speaking : I was so speechless. I can’t said anything without “uuh. Emmmm. Euhh.” And there was a time when I just kept silence for 1 minute.
It’s because I can’t concentrate. My mind’s too busy thinking about Uji Mantap Test, Midsemester test, And OTHER TESTS that make me crazy).

I only got 70. Good. On the test before this, I got 99 in speaking because the teacher who test me was an Indonesian, and now, the teacher’s NATIVE SPEAKER. Very nice!

Hmmm. I can’t say anything more. Let’s wish my other scores will be greater than this one. (Amin.) by the way. UMAN (uji mantap) is over ! and for next week, there won’t be any test! Yippee!
